For the February holidays, students do not have the same dates as other children depending on the geographical area in which they live. Indeed, depending on zone A, B or C, the winter vacation are spread over different weeks, in particular to allow tourism professionals to better distribute the tourist flow, as in ski resorts for example. Here are the dates of the February holidays which represent the first official break since the start of the year 2025 for students.
The dates differ each year depending on the zones and academies. Thus, for the 2024-2025 school year, zone B will be on vacation first, followed by zone C and zone A. February vacation will officially begin on Saturday February 8, 2025 for zone B , on Saturday February 15, 2025 for zone C, followed by zone A on Saturday February 22, 2025.

As a reminder, zone A includes the cities of Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers. Zone B corresponds to students living in the following cities: Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Strasbourg. Finally, zone C corresponds to the cities of Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles.
