The apps eat up the phone’s battery

It can sometimes seem funny that the battery often lasts a whole day when we are working, but then needs to be charged again soon after we have used it.

In line with the development of technology, the mobile phone has become a tool that few can do without. Nowadays, we can do most things in it, from paying bills to watching movies and listening to music.

But with the development, the battery life has also been perceived as worse in new mobiles compared to the old bricks that were used in the 90s and 00s.

In today’s mobile phones, most things affect the phone’s battery life. Apps such as Youtube, Netflix, Instagram and mobile games tend to eat up battery.

However, charging the phone does not involve a huge effort. However, it can be good to have access to, for example, a power bank, at least if you are outdoors.

The technology site Mobile Namely writes what you should think about and which may be good to know before you go out into nature with your mobile phone. Running out of battery when you are out in the woods is not recommended.

This is because when you are outdoors the battery tends to run out faster. And there are reasonable reasons why this is so.

Some good tips to keep in mind when you’re out in nature are to turn off dimming the screen, turn off apps, and disable location services.

Therefore, the mobile phone dies when you are out

One of the reasons why the mobile phone’s battery runs out faster when you are outdoors is because the light maximizes the brightness of the screen, which in itself drains more battery.

Another reason to be aware of is that when you are in an outdoor environment, where the coverage is limited or deteriorated, a stronger signal strength is required to have a connection and thus be able to communicate. And this is a real battery thief.

Some additional things that affect battery life are if you have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled at the same time. Likewise, push notifications, location services and whether or not you have put the mobile in power saving mode.

So if you’re out in nature, don’t forget to take a power bank with you to be able to charge your phone if the battery runs out.
