The Detective Academy had 187 Swedish detective stories to choose from. There were 70 registered candidates for the award as the year’s best translated detective story. The Academy nominated “In a Moment” by Jo Callaghan: “Broken Silence” by Linda Castillo, “Black Wolf” by Juan Gómez-Jurado, “Silent as the Wall” by Arnaldur Indridason and “Blood Moon” by Jo Nesbø.
The prize winners will be presented on December 3 at the Eskilstuna city library on Sunday, December 3.
