Here are the audiences favorites in the Lions team

Urheilu’s readers voted for their favorites for the Lions’ team for the upcoming four-country NHL tournament.

Last week, Urheilu’s experts announced their own Lions’ team for the four-country tournament of the hockey league NHL in February.

In the same context, bench athletes had the opportunity to vote for the Finnish crew for the tournament played in the NHL arena. The audience’s Favorite team survived the week’s follow-up.

The final teams for the four-nation NHL top tournament will be announced today, Wednesday, for Sweden and Finland, approximately at 21:00.

The American and Canadian teams will be announced on Thursday at around 1:30 a.m. Finnish time.

Finland’s final selections will be discussed in the Ika änäri podcast at Areena on Thursday morning at 06:00.

The four-nation tournament is an expected event. For the first time in years, the best NHL players will play against each other at the national team level – the last time this happened was at the World Cup in 2016.

Previously, Finland, Sweden, Canada and the United States have named the first six players.

These six players for Leijon have already been named

  • Juuse Saros (goalie, Nashville Predators)
  • Miro Heiskanen (defender, Dallas Stars)
  • Esa Lindell (defenseman, Dallas Stars)
  • Mikko Rantanen (forward, Colorado Avalanche)
  • Sebastian Aho (forward, Carolina Hurricanes)
  • Aleksander Barkov (forward, Florida Panthers)
  • In the goalkeeper section, the public voted – that’s it Ismo Lehkonen and Tommi Seppälän like – Nashville Juuse Saros As the Lions’ starting number one guard.

Made NHL history in Vancouver with ten consecutive away wins since the beginning of the season Kevin Lankinen remained the second keeper of the Lions with a couple of hundred votes. The public rated Buffalo as the third goalkeeper Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen with 24.5 percent of the vote.

The puck team from Dallas made it to Finland’s number one pair Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell. Heiskanen was the public’s favorite, collecting almost half of the votes.

A pair of two-packs make up the framed Florida Niko Mikkola and Philadelphia Rasmus Ristolainenon the other hand of the triple pack pair, Utah Olli Määtä and Buffalo Henri Jokiharju.

There was a tight battle for the place in the standoff against Toronto Jani Hakanpää and Utah Juuso Välimäkiof which the first mentioned took the place with 32 votes.

The audience clearly wanted him to be the anchor of the first attack chain Alexander Barkov and next to him the Colorado Avalanche tandem Mikko RantanenArtturi Lehkonen.

The sound rake of the second chain was Sebastian Aho before Roope Hintz and Teuvo Teräväi. Readers wanted to bundle together the old and previously well-functioning Carolina radar pair Aho – Teräväinen.

The Florida duo was trusted in the triple chain to Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen. NY Rangers Kaapo Kako was a clear choice for vitja’s third run.

In the track section, the audience had the most dispersion, even New Jersey Erik Haula was a clear choice for that. Carolina Jesperi Kotkaniemi won 11.2 percent of the votes and Montreal Joel Armia 7.7.

The title of the additional, 13th attacker was evenly contested. of Utah Matias Maccelli took the last game spot with 31 votes ahead of Montreal Patrik Laineta. Pittsburgh too Jesse Puljujärvi and Seattle Eeli Tolvanen were disappointed by the lack of audience votes.

Laine’s sidelining is explained by the fact that the Tampere native had not played in the NHL for 355 days before Wednesday morning’s New York Islanders match.

Puljujärvi has collected 3+5=8 points in the 20 games he has played this season, and Tolvanen also has eight points (6+2) in 25 games.

A total of 2,628 votes had been cast by Monday evening at 6 p.m.
