The Asian restaurant chains are becoming more and more popular in Sweden – but what about the most well-known names? News24 has taken the pace of some of the most well-known restaurant chains in the vanguard of Asian cuisine.

The figures are taken from all companiesand the list refers to the years 2022 and 2021.

4. Koh Phangan

The Koh Phangan restaurant chain only has 3 restaurants but had a result after financial net of SEK -3,636,000 in 2022, which means that they went back another SEK 1,245,000 since the previous year.

3. Sushi Yama

The sushi giant has a whopping 43 restaurants around Sweden but went back SEK 614,000 in 2022.

2. Pong

Pong has nine restaurants in Sweden and the restaurant chain’s earnings after net financials increased between the years 2021 and 2022. In 2022 they landed at SEK 40,724,000 after net financials.

Result after financial net 2021: SEK 102,918,000

The fast food chain Chopchop has 43 restaurants in Sweden at the time of writing and is the best performing restaurant chain on this list. In 2022, they had a result after financial net of SEK 143,474,000, an increase of SEK 40,556,000 from the year 2021.
