Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

In the new anime MMORPG Blue Protocol, players can choose from 5 different classes. Here you can find out what they are and what they can do.

A release in the West has now been officially announced for the new MMORPG Blue Protocol, much to the delight of the fans. The game relies on story and PvE, which is characterized by an action-packed combat system.

A total of 5 classes are known so far, with which the fans will take off in Blue Protocol. Some of them were already playable during the beta tests. In this article you will find an overview of what the classes can do as well as gameplay videos that introduce each skill.

Aegis Fighter

Blue Protocol Aegis Fighter Gameplay

What can the Aegis Fighter do? This melee class can best be compared to a paladin from classic MMORPGs. The Aegis Fighter fights with a sword and shield and also has access to holy magic.

While Blue Protocol doesn’t have a proper Holy Trinity system, the Aegis Fighter is the closest fit for a tank role. He has a variety of defensive abilities, including his ultimate, and can draw aggro from opponents.

  • Ultimate ability grants additional defense, super armor and HP regeneration. Using the ability heals the character and fills the shield gauge. While the ability is active, the Aegis Fighter can use attacks to fill another bar that regenerates the party’s HP when used.
  • The class also has its own resource called Shield Gauge, which is necessary for shield blocking. Also, while holding the shield ready to block, you can prepare a counterattack that will be performed immediately after the block.

When it comes to attack skills, the Aegis Fighter draws on holy magic, which it performs simultaneously with its sword combos, for example. However, he can also place an AoE area on the ground that deals continuous damage.

    Blast Archer

    Blue Protocol Blast Archer Gameplay

What can the Blast Archer do? In contrast to the Aegis Fighter, this class prefers to stay at a distance and gets involved in the mid to long range.

The Blast Archers are masters of group play. They can assist fellow players by knocking and stunning enemies with their shots, putting them to sleep, or even boosting other players’ debuffs and spreading them to multiple enemies.

However, their repertoire also includes support skills such as healing, which can be placed on the ground with an AoE ball, or abilities to reduce cooldowns for group members.

Many of the Blast Archer’s abilities can also be charged. If you hold down the respective button and then release it, the attack will deal more damage. This applies to both normal attacks and skills.

  • The Blast Archer’s ultimate ability creates a gravity sphere that sucks in enemies, making them better grouped for area attacks.
  • Heavy Smashers

    Blue Protocol Heavy Smasher Gameplay

What can the Heavy Smasher do? This is Blue Protocol’s second melee class. The Smasher uses a large hammer in combat, allowing it to unleash powerful attacks, pull enemies in, and even shoot.

Another similarity to the Fighter is that the Heavy Smasher has defensive skills that it can use to increase its defense. This is what makes the class “tank-ier” and helps with frontline survival.

Heavy Smashers’ heavy attacks are slower, but they can knock down or stun single enemies.

In order to be able to perform their abilities, the Heavy Smashers need the “Cartridge” resource. This resource must be used wisely in battle, because without it, some of the skills can no longer be used.

You can reload the cartridges with skills. Doing this with a completely empty cartridge clip can result in various positive effects such as additional bonus charges or buffs.

Heavy Smasher’s ultimate ability is not yet known.

    spell caster

    Blue Protocol Spell Caster Gameplay

What can the Spell Caster do? The Spell Caster is the traditional magician class, without which hardly any MMORPG can do. The caster prefers to spend his time in the background, at a greater distance from the opponent, in order to be able to cast his spells from there in peace.

The resource EP is required for using the magic, which the spell caster can replenish with a skill if it is completely used up in a fight. The ability repertoire includes the usual elemental spells such as fireball or ice storm.

Similar to the Blast Archer, the Caster can also charge his abilities, giving them a boost. It can simply be a damage bonus, or it can be an enlarged area for AoE attacks or a longer DoT duration.

The spell casters benefit greatly from group play with melee fighters such as Aegis Fighter or Heavy Smasher. These can draw the enemy’s aggro while the mage stands back and can dish out massive damage in peace.

  • The Spell Caster’s ultimate ability summons a huge meteor that deals heavy area damage.
  • Twin Striker

    Blue Protocol Twin Striker Gameplay

What can the Twin Striker do? Blue Protocol’s third melee class is a strong DD. The Twin Strikers use two axes in battle, with which they expertly dissect their opponents into small pieces.

Their class mechanics revolve around combos. Basic attacks steadily fill the combo gauge, which can increase the striker’s attack power by up to 130%. At the same time, the collected points can also be spent to use certain skills.

To survive on the front line, the Twin Striker can buff its defenses or drain its opponents’ HP. The basic combat flow of Twin Striker is based on dodging enemy attacks and using the attack opportunities that arise to deal massive damage yourself. So it’s an out and back in combat flow.

Leveling up Tactical Striker skills affects how often or for how long they can be used. Ax attacks get more slashes and jumps can be performed multiple times in a row.

  • The Striker’s ultimate ability throws the opponent into the air. The character then lunges at the opponent, dealing heavy damage and absorbing their HP.
