Remember, last February, Microids announced to us in total exclusivity the existence ofAsterix and Obelix Slap them All 2. The game’s release is even already set for next November (a big release month for Microids ), which means that this sequel will arrive two years after the first episode. We should not expect major visual changes, since the engine and the drawings have remained identical, which is not necessarily disturbing when we know that the first opus was already a graphic marvel. It’s still Mr Nutz Studio who is in charge and we hope, however, that the pace of the game has improved (fewer passages on the pirate ship please) and that the gameplay has also expanded. We remember that the game relied more on the flow of enemies to manage rather than the combos to achieve.
In terms of the story, it will be about the
‘Aquila of Lutetia, the precious golden emblem of the Roman legions, which was stolen and threw an innocent man in prison! Unsurprisingly, Asterix and his heavy-boned friend decide to investigate, promise to investigate, and then go to Lutèce to try to settle this story. In their absence, it is Goudurix who will ensure the security of the village. Release planned for November on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.
