Here are all the king’s cars – the luxurious collection is worth 25 million

To King Carl XVI Gustaf has a great interest in cars, there is no doubt about that. Over the years, he has been captured in many photos riding his sleds, and sometimes it’s been a bit fast.

Earlier this week wrote News24 about a viral Tiktok clip where you see the king and Queen Silvia overtaking another car on the E4 at the height of Dragon Gate. In just a couple of days, the clip received around 600,000 views.

The car the king is traveling in in the viral clip is a BMW M8 Competition with a whopping 625 horsepower, worth just over 1.7 million. And it is far from the only luxury car Carl XVI Gustav has in his possession.

According to data such as the state’s public records, such as the motor industry magazine Carup taken part, the king has an impressive collection consisting of ten cars, a motorcycle and a trailer.

  • Shelby Cobra, from 1966
  • Shelby Mustang 350 GT, from 1965
  • Ford Mustang GT 4.7 V8, from 1965
  • Porsche 911 T Targa, from 1973
  • De Tomaso Pantera, from 1971
  • Ferrari 599 GTB, from 2007
  • Pontiac GTO Convertible, from 1966
  • Volvo PV60, from 1946
  • Jeep Grand Wagoneer, from 1989
  • According to several online sources, the total value of the collection is around 25 million. But given that the vehicles were owned by the king himself, the market value may in fact be considerably higher than that.
