A two-year-old girl was standing with her parents by a swimming pool in a village just outside Moscow when she was attacked by a monkey. The monkey had escaped from a private zoo nearby and caused serious injuries to the little girl.
The girl and her family had recently fled Ukraine to a village just outside Moscow when the attack occurred.
The girl was taken to hospital after the attack, where she was treated for, among other things, serious lacerations to her legs.
