It was a year ago that Louise was out with her spaniel dogs Dio and Doc. A stray dog attacked them, Dio died and Doc was injured.
The dog that attacked was an Amstaff, the same breed that killed his mother in Robertsfors. That dog had previously bitten a child and was to be sent abroad, something that the County Administrative Board never checked.
When Louise heard about the case, she was furious. She wants to see stricter legislation and better follow-up of dogs that have bitten other dogs or people.
Minister of National Development Peter Kullgren, who is responsible for this issue, writes to TV4 Nyheterna that there is already legislation that makes it possible for the county administration and the police to intervene when dogs cause danger.
