While the busiest shopping took place on Mondays and Tuesdays, consumers preferred to shop especially in the evening hours, between 21:00 and 22:00, and showed the most interest in e-commerce in November, which is the discount period, and in September and October, which include back-to-school campaigns. Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi stood out among the mobile phone brands most purchased by users in 2023. Portable computers were among the most preferred technological products after mobile phones. Among the portable computer brands, customers showed the most interest in Lenovo, Asus, Huawei and HP. In mobile phone accessories, Bluetooth headsets and smart watches came to the fore in 2023. Apple, Anker and Lenovo branded bluetooth headsets became customer favorites. In addition, smart watches of Huawei, Xiaomi and Apple brands and smart children’s watches of Baby Smart brand were among the products that attracted the attention of technology enthusiasts.

In 2023, in the clothing category, customers preferred DeFacto and Penti brand socks, while US Polo Assn., DeFacto and Mavi brands came to the fore in t-shirts. For sweaters, trousers, shirts and sweatshirts, DeFacto and US Polo Assn. brands were preferred. In line with customer preferences in the shoe & bag category, Igor and Cat brand boots attracted great attention. US Polo Assn. In the home textile and decoration category, pillows of Varol brand, blankets and duvet cover sets of Yataş and English Home brands were purchased, while Chakra’s towels as well as candles and home scents were the prominent products. In the decoration category, cabinets, office chairs and computer tables also became the preferred products for shopping in 2023.

Customers’ favorite brands and products were also determined in the personal care and cosmetics products category. While shampoos of Clear, Elidor and Head & Shoulders brands were preferred, skin care serums of The Purest Solutions brand stood out in facial care. Hc Care and Urban Care brands were among the most preferred in hair care, and La Roche-Posay were among the most preferred in sun protection products. Sinoz peeling and MISSHA facial masks were purchased for body care. Among the color cosmetic products, Maybelline New York brand lipsticks and L’Oréal Paris brand mascaras were preferred. Electric toothbrushes of the Oral-B brand also attracted great attention from customers.

While deep fryers of Philips and Xiaomi brands were among the most purchased products in small home appliances, this year Philips brand espresso and cappuccino machines, steam irons, hair and beard trimmers also came to the fore. While Arzum, Karaca and Sinbo were preferred in Turkish coffee machines, the first choice of those who wanted to prepare smoothies was the blender of the Arzum brand. While Xiaomi, Dyson and Roborock robot vacuum cleaners were among the best sellers with their effective cleaning performance, microwave ovens of the Samsung brand also came to the fore. Among white goods, dishwashers and washing machines were the most purchased. Vestel and Altus brands were preferred for dishwashers, and Samsung and Altus brands were preferred for washing machines. Another product most purchased for homes this year was dryers, and the Hoover brand stood out. This year, air conditioners and fans were among the most purchased products due to temperatures above seasonal norms. Vestel and Kumtel were among the most preferred brands.

Hepsiburada customers showed the most interest in wet wipes, baby diapers and toilet paper in the basic consumption and food categories in the first six months of the year. While Sleepy and Solo were preferred in the wet cleaning wipes category, Solo and Selpak brands stood out in toilet and towel papers. Sleepy, Molfix and Baby Turco were among the prominent ones in baby diapers. In cleaning materials, Perwoll liquid detergent, Yumoş brand as softener and Finish brand as dishwashing detergents were preferred by consumers. In the grocery category, biscuits and cakes of the Eti brand stood out, while Ülker’s chocolate and wafers were among the most consumed products by users. In the food and beverage category, the most preferred product group by customers in 2023 was coffee. The coffee category was followed by carbonated and still drinks, halvas, chocolate pastes and nuts. Lavazza, Tchibo, Moliendo Finest Coffee, Çaykur, Red Bull, Lipton, Bercekız Servet Şekerleme, Tuğba Kuruyemiş, Haluk Aydın Kuruyemiş were the most preferred brands. In dairy products, Pınar and Alpro with its herbal milk options were the most preferred brands by customers.
