Henschotermeer use of municipal dispute between neighbors in court what

When the Woudenberg municipal council approved the plans of the operator of the Henschotermeer last March, it was immediately clear that the opponents would not leave it at that. Various interest groups and the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, where 40 percent of the area is located, do not want a restaurant, a lookout tower and an event hall to be built at the Hens. “It means: more people at the lake and more traffic movements, especially in the evening,” says D66 faction leader Erik van Buiten (Utrechtse Heuvelrug). “More lamps and more light and that is not good for the animals and nature.”
