Henry Cavill’s last Netflix straw is saved – but the streaming service doesn’t need him at all

Henry Cavill and Netflix are divorced people. At least that’s what The Witcher fans could assume after the action star’s exit. However, the fantasy series is not the only project for the streamer in which the actor was involved: An Enola Holmes 3 script is currently being worked on, that could bring him to a Netflix set once again. Henry Cavill is just a decorative addition to Netflix’s Enola Holmes series

As a conversation between Netflix film boss Scott Stuber and Collider reveals, the streaming service is letting currently writing a script for part 3. More precise details are not yet known. There are already six templates for new adventures with Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown.

The Enola Holmes series However, at its core, it’s not about Cavills’ famous Sherlock Holmes role. It’s more about his young sister Enola (Millie Bobby Brown), who uses her own genius to solve crimes and even surpasses her brother in this. Enola Holmes was released in 2020, followed two years later by the sequel Enola Holmes 2.

When is Enola Holmes 3 coming to Netflix?

It is currently unclear when Enola Holmes 3 will appear on the streaming service. Looking at the launch dates of the two predecessors, we could imagine a release in Fall 2024 introduce.
