Henry Cavill fans are currently experiencing an emotional roller coaster ride. At the latest with the end credits scene of Black Adam it was clear that the actor as Superman in the DC movie universe is. The Witcher fans, on the other hand, will have to accept that Cavill will no longer be part of the Netflix series after the upcoming third season.
In a new interview, the star has now opened up about his Superman plans and one extremely upbeat version of the DC hero teased.

Henry Cavill wants DC fans fired from cinemas
In his Instagram post for the official return, the star already promised an extremely happy Superman. In the Enola Holmes 2 Screen Rant interview, Cavill opened up about the hero’s future in more detail. Apparently it should much more hopeful and optimistic than the more somber Zack Snyder approaches of late:
There are so many ways to have conversations about it. Obviously I have a very close connection to the character. And he has something extraordinarily special; extraordinarily special in his ability to give and to love. I don’t mean romantic; I mean his love for the earth and for the people who live here and for making people feel powerful – making people feel like Superman themselves.
Of course, I have many wishes for it, which will be discussed later. But the most important thing I’m going to aim for is, that the audience leaves the cinema feeling like they can fly, feeling able to protect and wanting to give something to everyone else. That would be my goal.
When and how Superman returns in the DC after the Black Adam credits scene, is not yet certain. DC is currently working on the next solo film for the superhero and is still looking for the right script for a possible Man of Steel 2.
It looks like Henry Cavill wants to come back more back to the roots of Superman and show a much more positive side, as it was already shown in the older film adaptations with Christopher Reeve.
