After leaving Superman and leaving The Witcher, Henry Cavill has a freer schedule again in the future. The star may use the time to play in a new science fiction project. A recent rumor has it that Cavill is interested in starring in 28 Days Later and Sunshine director Danny Boyle’s upcoming film.

GFR has rumored the The Witcher star is in negotiations to star in Boyle’s upcoming film. The sci-fi flick is currently titled The Oasis. Cavill would play a scientist in it, the one so far Unknown new life form discoveredwhich he must protect from destruction.

In addition to more action-heavy roles like Superman or Geralt, the character of a scientist would definitely be a surprising new facet for the actor. Since he also has to fight to protect the alien life form in the plot of the sci-fi film, the part should still offer the usual qualities of the star.
