No one understood at all what had happened and von Eckermann was then quickly on his feet to go over to his horse.
– King Edward loses his balance, there is a misunderstanding between the two. King Edward stops when there is something in front of him and Henrik falls off, says the TV expert Petronella Andersson in the television broadcast.

After the competition, Henrik von Eckermann then breaks the silence with heartbreaking words about the great nightmare in the Olympic final.
– It’s shamefully bad, there are no excuses, says the distressed Swede in Max.
– In terms of results, in this situation, it is probably the worst that has happened. You get off and in that situation I just think, “Where is the horse going?”. I was afraid he would get scared and run away. Somewhere, the little joy that exists is that he stands there and is calm.
– I feel ashamed of having the horse I have and not succeeding. The way I’m swamping this chance with this horse being forced to end his championship career this way.
