After the first round in Geneva, von Eckermann and King Edwards were flawless and second fastest. That meant he was next to last in the second round and had a chance to win.
In the second round, there was a crash and that made the chance of victory disappear.
– It is what it is. It’s still okay, says von Eckermann.
– Even the best can do something like that, says SVT Sports expert Lotta Björe.
The victory went to home star Steve Guerdat who took his third win in the Top 10 final context. Third came the American Kent Farrington.
– It was incredible to win this special class for the third time, says Guerdat.
It was the third time that von Eckermann came second in this competition.
The Top 10 final is a competition where the top ten in the world ranking meet.
