Former security adviser Henrik Landerholm is charged with carelessness with secret information, reports DN.
According to the indictment, as the newspaper took part in, Can the person who found the forgotten acts “be linked to the violent extremist environment”.
The lawsuit against the former security adviser has been submitted to Attunda District Court, the magazine writes.
At the end of January, Henrik Landerholm left his position as a national security adviser. A criminal investigation regarding negligence with a secret task had then begun.
Henrik Landerholm was appointed as Sweden’s first national security adviser in the fall of 2022. He ended up in windy weather in December after DN revealed that he forgot confidential documents in a courtyard, which was then found by unauthorized persons.
According to the indictment, which DN has taken part in, the person who found the forgotten acts can be “linked to the violent extremist environment”.
Landerholm’s lawyer has previously stated that he does not consider himself guilty of a crime.
