Henrik Landerholm: “I don’t have anything to apologize for” • Forgot confidentiality documents on the course grounds
The four classified documents were found at Gällöfsta kursgård in mid-March 2023. Sweden’s national security advisor Henrik Landerholm had accidentally left them there.
The documents were found by the facility’s cleaning staff, and the classified information can therefore be considered cleared.
But the Prime Minister believes that despite this, Landerholm is still suitable for his mission.
– He has received the serious calls that the security department thought were justified due to what happened, says Ulf Kristersson at Folk och Försvar and continues:
– I understand that this matter is handled exactly according to the Government Office’s procedures.

Another major concern for the prime minister is that Dagens Nyheter previously revealed that Landerholm forgot a mobile phone at the Hungarian embassy in 2022. And that he left a notepad at Sveriges Radio in January 2023.
TV4 Nyheterna has spoken to Henrik Landerholm, who believes that he has nothing to apologize for.
– I have no reason to make any excuses or explanations, other than that the human factor and high workload naturally together meant that these events occurred, he says.
Do you think you can stay?
– I am not the one to answer that. I have a six-year appointment. The question has been out for almost two years now.

However, the Prime Minister believes that it does not affect his actions towards Landerholm at all.
