Creator of the series Felix Herngren says that it is difficult to turn down more seasons of Solsidan.

Season 8 premiered on Friday and the audience showed high expectations on social media. Solsidan, which has been on the air since 2010, is turning a teenager this year, but it has rather meant that the actors can switch to their characters more quickly.
