Henrik Brandão Jönsson tipped about buying sex on the radio – got kicked out live

Brandão Jönsson participated together with chef Jennie Walldén in a panel i “Sunday in P4” which gave listeners advice on various dilemmas. A woman described how her husband was bad in bed and asked for advice.

After first suggesting that the couple go to a sexologist, Brandão Jönsson then advised that the man should go to Copenhagen and pay for sex.

– That’s how you do it in Brazil, then you get to learn, and in Spain.

“Nothing controversial to say in Brazil”

Both the presenter Farah Abadi and the panel member Jennie Walldén reacted strongly to the proposal about sex buying, which is illegal in Sweden.

– What the hell are you saying now? Abadi said.

– No, no, no, no, said Walldén.

– These men have low self-confidence, they need help. This is nothing controversial to say in Brazil, but it is hugely controversial in Sweden, said Henrik Brandão Jönsson, who himself lived in Brazil for 25 years.

Farah Abadi stated that it would be difficult to continue the program together and asked him to leave the panel.

– Thank you for me, said Brandão Jönsson and left the studio at the same time as a song started in the program.

Abadi: “Strange view of humanity”

The editors for Söndag in P4 write to SVT Nyheter that they clearly distanced themselves from Brandão Jönsson’s statement.

“The decision that the panelist was allowed to leave was taken by the editors in the moment, who saw that it was the best solution to continue the program Sunday in P4”.

– I think it is a strange human view to advise a listener to go to Copenhagen to buy sex. It didn’t work to continue with the panel as usual after that, says host Farah Abadi after the program.

SVT is looking for Henrik Brandão Jönsson.
