Henrik Brandão Jönsson apologizes for sex buying advice

It was during a panel discussion together with TV chef Jennie Walldén that Henrik Brandão Jönsson advised a listener about buying sex in Denmark.

– Maybe he should go to a sexologist. He might go to Copenhagen and pay for sex, said Brandão Jönsson in the P4 program.

Host Farah Adabi reacted strongly and asked him to leave the studio.

“Apologise so terribly”

Now Brandão Jönsson says Today’s News that he regrets the statement.

– I want to apologize so terribly, says Brandão Jönsson to DN.

He believes that the words on the radio were a kind of provocation.

– It does not mean that I think so, he tells the newspaper.

“Terribly disgusting”

Brandão Jönsson also says that he does not think his comment about buying sex was appropriate – and that he understands that people who heard the panel conversation take offense.

– Absolutely. There are so many women, children, men and boys who fall victim to human trafficking. I think it’s terribly disgusting and understand that you get upset.
