In our country – and also in our municipality – there is a great need for new homes and new forms of living. However, its implementation is at odds with space for agricultural activities, greenery and nature, as well as the legislation and regulations in these areas. The intended new cabinet will have to discuss this issue together with provinces and municipalities and make (political) choices.
Residents who wish to request a declaration of urgency can contact the Fourth House. This organization provides emergency declarations on behalf of the municipality. The procedure is that a home seeker registers with WoningNet, the distribution system for social housing, after which the home seeker can turn to the Fourth House.
