From August 12, people who are in a certain radius around the course will automatically receive a push message via social media. The channels Facebook, Instagram and the neighborhood app Nextdoor are used for this. The messages will state what nuisance they can expect and what traffic measures have been taken. The information is distributed in all passing municipalities of the Vuelta and is specified per municipality. The use of Smart Mobility should help road users, visitors and local residents to choose a mode of transport, route or parking space.
