As expected, the Finnish women’s national football team defeated Georgia in the World Cup qualifiers in Helsinki. Georgia’s throw-in bag has not scored in six matches yet.

The Finnish women’s national football team cut the pipeline of six winning matches on Tuesday when it defeated Georgia 6–0 in the World Cup qualifiers in Helsinki.
Crushers were expected from the match, as Georgia had not scored a goal in five matches. On Thursday, the team lost 0-15 to Sweden and in November Ireland had crushed it to 11-0.
However, based on the opening period, there were no such promises yet, although the level differences between the teams became clear.
The opening goal of the match was allowed to wait 24 minutes until Emmi Alanen pushed the helms to the lead Tuija Hyyrysen serving. Ten minutes later Sanni France was dumped in the penitentiary and Eveliina Summanen increased Finland’s lead from the penalty kick to 2–0. Finland’s third hit came at the end of a successful press when Georgia’s defense was mixed. Adelina Engman thanked and riveted for break counts 3–0.
In the second period, the teams continued where they left off in the opening period. Finland continued to score goals and Georgia did its best to play in time to keep the readings as low as possible. Helmarit rose to second in the block
With the victory, Helmarit rose to second in the block with ten points. However, the match between Ireland and block-top Sweden is still in progress, in addition to which Ireland has less matches played in Finland. Sweden leads the block by far, but Finland and Ireland are fighting for second place to qualify for the World Cup finals.
The World Cup finals will be played in Australia and New Zealand in the summer of 2023.
