A woman turned herself in after Chatham-Kent police called to advise her of pending charges in connection to incidents in a Chatham neighbourhood, police say.
Officers responding to a reported assault on Moonstone Crescent about 7:30 pm Sunday learned a woman had clashed with a man, police said.
Officers learned the woman had, on different occasions, thrown a bottle at the man’s truck, breaking a window, and had assaulted and thrown household items at him, police said.
After receiving the call from police, the woman surrendered to police Monday morning.
A Staples woman, 31, is charged with assault and two counts of mischief. She was released with conditions and a July 10 short date.
