Helldivers 2 has announced a new battle pass with the war bond “Democratic Detonations”. There are new weapons and lots of explosions to see.

What kind of content is this? On April 11, 2024, “Democratic Detonations,” a new premium war bond, will be coming to Helldivers 2. After various leaks had already circulated online, the war bond has now been officially announced.

This is what’s inside: The new war bond will again contain three new primary weapons, secondary weapons and armor.

  • New primary weapons
  • BR-14 Referee Rifle – An armor-piercing assault rifle
  • R-36 Bursting Rifle – A repeating rifle that fires jet-powered projectiles designed to explode on impact and spread shrapnel
  • CB-9 Blast Crossbow – A crossbow that shoots explosive bolts and promises massive direct hit damage
  • New secondary weapons/utility boosters
  • G-123 Thermite Grenade – A grenade that sticks to surfaces
  • GP-31 Grenade Gun – A pistol that fires grenades
  • Evacuation Pilot Ace Booster – A booster to reduce the time it takes for the evacuation shuttle to reach the beacon
  • New armor
  • CE-27 Earthbreaker – Medium Armor
  • CE-07 Blasting Expert – Light Armor
  • FS-55 Ravager – Heavy Armor

    • There will also be new capes with which you can give your cannon fodder – sorry, your brave Helldivers – the appropriate democratic flair.

    Unlike traditional Battle Passes, the new War Bond does not replace the previous ones. So you can complete already unlocked Warbonds at your own pace, or get them in the first place if you feel like a little extra democracy.

    How is that received? According to the first reactions, pretty good. The trailer received almost 90,000 views on YouTube within an hour.
