There have currently been many escapades in Helldivers 2 that players and developers alike have had to endure. The latest debacle is the discussion about nerfs and buffs regarding weapons. Arrowhead runs his scythe over all of the players’ guns, but now things are about to change.
Why is the community raging? In Helldivers 2, players are fed up. New War Bonds should bring fans new weapons and goodies to use in the fight against the enemies of democracy. Unfortunately, a majority of these tools are useless or lousy and are not worth using in combat. Arrowhead himself is to blame for this.
Many of their weapons are portrayed as attractive and powerful in trailers and announcements, but once War Bond is out and fans have spent money on them, they are nerfed weeks later. The players are now fed up and want to feel powerful.
There should be more buffs than nerfs. And to make sure that happens now, the boss of Arrowhead himself is taking care of it.

Boss personally takes care of the issue of “balancing”
What was revealed? The topic of “balancing” is hotly debated on Discord. Many are not satisfied and want to finally use cool guns that leave an impression on enemies. For this reason, the developer Evil-Bosse has spoken out.
Evil says the team is currently in discussions regarding “balancing,” thanks to Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt. Here’s what Evil-Bosse had to say: “Our CEO is putting a lot of internal effort into balancing, there are a lot of meetings and a lot of conversations going on.”
What exactly will be discussed is not yet known, but Pilestedt himself recognizes that every time something fun is added, the fun is removed again through nerfs. So it’s a matter of time before Arrowhead unpacks its big buffs.
How satisfied is the community currently? Not particularly happy. Arrowhead regularly conducts polls on Discord to find out what the current mood and opinions of the community are. This time too, the developers are asking you what you think of the new war bond “Polar Patriots” and the following results have been collected so far (as of 1:34 p.m. on May 4th):
While 27% of the 54,346 total votes express that they want more patches, 45% clearly state that they are not satisfied. The mood is clear: things cannot go on like this. On May 14th, Arrowhead released its new patch 01.000.304, but it only brought minor bug fixes and no weapon buffs. So players still have to be patient.
