This is Harri Heliovaaras new doubles pair the Finn

The Finnish-British tennis couple lost to their third-ranked Australian opponents in the semifinals of the Eastbourne tournament.

A tennis player Harri Heliövaaran and his partner of Henry Patten hopes of a place in the men’s doubles final at the ATP tournament in Eastbourne were dashed when the pair bowed out in a thriller to John Peers and To Matthew Ebden.

In the end, the Finnish-British pair had to humble themselves to their third-placed Australian opponents with a score of 7-6 (13-11), 6-7 (4-7), 5-10.

Heliövaara and Patten, who won the opening set, were also in the second set when they took a 3-2 lead thanks to a pass break. However, the lead did not last when the Australians, who were immediately successful in the counter-break, turned the set that stretched into a breakaway game in their favor.

Peers and Ebden’s place in the finals was sealed in the third set played as a cut-off game with scores of 5-10.

Peers is already a very familiar player to Heliövaara, as he was the Finn’s regular partner for two months at the beginning of the year.

Next, Heliövaara and Patten head to London, where the duo will play in Wimbledon starting next week.
