Harri Heliövaara and his British partner Henry Patten progressed to the semi-finals of the ATP tennis tournament in Vienna with less than an hour’s work.
The semi-final awaits on Saturday, because Harri Heliövaaran and his British counterpart of Henry Patten the opponent will be decided in the Austrian tournament only on Friday.
The Slovakian couple who reached the doubles main series through the qualifiers Lukas Klein/Jozef Kovalik based on the opening set, Heliövaara and Patten had a mouthful, but the second set leveled after the Slovaks broke Heliövaara’s pass once. However, the Finnish-British pair won the quarterfinals 6–1, 6–4.
Heliövaara and Patten, ranked third, are the highest ranked of the pairs still participating in Vienna.
The first pair was already eliminated in the opening round and the second placed pair in the quarterfinals.
Last Sunday, Heliövaara and Patten took their fourth ATP level title in Stockholm.
