Finland Harri Heliövaara and Britain Henry Patten have been eliminated from the men’s doubles in the third round of the US Open tennis tournament.
Holland’s Wesley Koolhof and Croatia Nikola Mektic advanced 6–2, 6–2 in New York.
Heliövaara and Patten, who won the previous grand slam tournament in Wimbledon in London, lost the first and seventh games in the opening set of the US Open and the third and seventh games in the second set.
