Helios 300 SpatialLabs brings glasses-free 3D experience

Acer today announced the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition gaming laptop, which brings the glasses-free, stereoscopic 3D experience to the gaming world. The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition supports more than 50 popular games at launch with the SpatialLabs TrueGame platform. Acer also shared that it will continue to support new games in the coming period.

In addition to its 3D gaming laptop, Acer also announced the Predator Triton 300 SE gaming laptop, which stands out with its thin chassis, and the Predator XB273K LV and Acer Nitro XV272U RV gaming monitors.

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition (PH315-55s) is a powerful gaming laptop that delivers glasses-free, stereoscopic 3D gaming experiences. With the SpatialLabs TrueGame application, players can play supported games on the device in 3D mode, with the details of the game vivid. In games, the rooms are larger, the objects really look more layered, and the adventures in the games become more exciting in smooth and real time without the need for special glasses.

SpatialLabs TrueGame, a new application that brings stereoscopic 3D experience to the gaming world, allows gamers to truly enjoy their favorite games. Considering that the games are mostly created by the developers with three dimensions in mind, it is better understood that there is no limit to what 3D can add to the game. SpatialLabs uses the information that developers give about depth to every scene and object they create in games to present games in stereoscopic 3D. A custom pre-configured profile is created for each game title among more than 50 modern and classic titles to be released to give gamers a seamless experience with their favorite titles. According to the statement made by Acer, new profiles will be added to the platform for additional titles on a regular basis in the coming period.

The SpatialLabs experience is brought to life with a combination of eye tracking, stereoscopic 3D display and real-time processing technologies. The screen of the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition gaming laptop consists of a 15.6-inch UHD 2D panel with an optically bonded liquid crystal lenticular lens on top. With this design comes an innovative module that can switch between 2D and stereoscopic 3D images.

The Predator Triton 300 SE (PT314-52s) slimline gaming laptop lineup has been refreshed with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Notebook GPUs, and a choice of 16:10 OLED panels.

A new 16-inch model (PT316-51s) has been added to the notebook lineup with WQXGA panels up to 240 Hz. Supporting NVIDIA G-SYNC® and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the device allows users to dynamically switch between internal and external graphics without rebooting.
