The helicopter crashed about 72 kilometers off Morgan City in the state of Louisiana, on the Gulf of Mexico coast of the USA. The US Coast Guard announced that after the accident, which took place at around 18:30 local time yesterday, rescuers were dispatched to the scene upon notice.
LIFE BODY FOUND
As part of the rescue operation carried out in the helicopter, which was upside down on the water, 2 of the 3 crew members were sent to a health center in New Orleans. The lifeless body of a person was also found in the sinking helicopter. The identities of the crew were not disclosed.
