In “Farmer seeks wife” it has come time for Göran Lindström to make his first choice on the farm. One of the four women who moved in needs to leave and the choice finally falls on Heléne Hagman. In the program we see how Heléne states before the election that she does not want to leave.
– I don’t feel ready here at all, says Heléne in the program.
But when TV4 talks to Heléne, it turns out that Göran’s choice did not come as a shock.
– They haven’t shown the sync that we recorded the day before, where I say that I feel that my emotions have cooled. I said I fully understood if he chose me out. I felt myself that I probably won’t be able to let go of my feelings, explains Heléne to TV4.
– He has to choose according to his heart and I too. You can feel it in the air, I’ve been alive for a while. You can feel whether it clicks or not, she continues.

She explains why, despite that, she also felt a sense that she wanted to stay.
– It is clear that they still wanted to give it a chance. When you have such a short time together, and get to know one person who gets to know four people, it’s a bit complicated. At least for me. It was difficult to let go of feelings, but of course I wanted to give it a chance, says Heléne.
Heléne is happy about her participation and describes it as a wonderful summer, but she is disappointed with how it ended. After the election, she was not allowed to talk to Göran at all.
– I wasn’t allowed to talk to him afterwards. He didn’t have time, he was going to sync or whatever. I would like to ask him what he felt, says Heléne.
– I didn’t even get to say goodbye. You can say goodbye, right? The others have had to do that, I’ve seen in the program, but why not me? It is generally decent, she continues.

She also hasn’t spoken to Göran since the recordings.
– I don’t know how he lives today, who is with him, says Heléne.
And how her own love life looks like today, she answers cryptically.
– I’m working on that ball. I have a hard time answering this right now. I’m taking it easy, but I’m fine.
