A man in Umeå is sentenced to two years in prison after holding his baby over a balcony railing in June – about eight meters above the ground, writes the Västerbottens courier.
According to the baby’s mother, the man was under the influence of alcohol and behaved threateningly. The man has said in a police interview that the baby was only outside the balcony railing for a few seconds and that he never said he was going to let go.
He is now being sentenced for aggravated unlawful threats, unlawful threats and aggravated breach of child protection.
