He is the brother of one of the two young men from Bunschoten-Spakenburg who died a year and a half ago after taking methadone pills. Fellow villager Sergio K., who traded the pills, was today acquitted of wrongful death. We now have to wait whether the Public Prosecution Service – which had demanded a hefty five-year prison sentence – will appeal. The case is not yet completely closed for the relatives. “The book is still half open,” says Hein.
