For centuries, only unmarried women have lived in the Hofje of Mrs. van Aerden in Leerdam. Since 2007 it is also a museum. To show visitors how the women used to live in the courtyard, a house has been decorated in the style of 1900 with items from Jan and Alleman. “My po is nice there too.”.
