– It was a man who was dissatisfied with the way a case was handled and he directed verbal threats at a politician and two civil servants, says Magnus Areskog, security coordinator at Borgholm Municipality.
After the incident, security guards were called to the municipal building, which was kept locked but open to the public.
Threats against politicians
– We consider it a serious incident and are increasing security here for the rest of the day, says Magnus Areskog.
No people have been physically injured and there should be no danger to employees or people staying in the municipal building, according to Magnus Areskog.
The incident has been reported to the police.
