But the really big breakthrough came through the hit series “Vår tid er nu” on SVT. For the effort as the main character Nina Löwander Stiernstedt was awarded as “Female Actress of the Year in a TV Production” at the Kristallen Gala in 2018. The same year, the series itself also won the award for “TV Drama of the Year”.
– This really feels fantastic. We’ve been working so hard on this for years and to receive these awards like this at the end of the journey makes me very happy, the actress told The evening paper after the gala.

In recent years, Hedda Stiernstedt has portrayed everything from Börje Salmings first wife Margitta Wendinthen in the series “Börje” where she played against Walter Skarsgårdto dynamite-Harry’s Love Doris in the film “Watch out for the Jönsson League”.
During the autumn of 2024, Stiernstedt is also current with the film “Nova & Alice”, where she will both sing and play guitar. For Svensk Dam, she talked about her feelings about the role:

In the same interview, Hedda Stiernstedt is asked if she has possibly been asked to be in “Monarki” – the TV series that will portray the king Carl XVI Gustafs life. The short answer is that she has not been offered a role – so far.
Because if Stiernstedt were to be asked, she seems to have a clear picture of who in the royal family she would like to portray.
