A highway in Meizhou city of Guangdong province, which was under the influence of heavy rains in southern China, collapsed. In the statement made by Chinese state television, it was stated that a 17.9-meter section of the Meizhou-Dabu Highway collapsed at around 02.10 local time, leaving 18 vehicles stranded.
