Since the end of June, 56 people have lost their lives in heavy rains in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. According to the news in the Hindustan Times, emergency operations center officials reported that heavy rains have been effective in the state of Himachal Pradesh since the end of June.
100 HOUSES WERE DAMAGED
Authorities reported that 21 people died from falling from high places, 18 from drowning, 8 from snake bites and electric shocks, and 1 from flooding. State authorities stated that 56 people lost their lives and approximately 100 houses were damaged in the state.
Meteorological authorities warned that heavy rain will be effective in some parts of the state in the coming days. (AA)
