The emergency services and ambulance were alerted at 21.20 that there was a heavy fire in the villa in Munkedal Municipality. – It’s a villa that has caught fire outside Hedekas. As we understand it, the house was uninhabited for a few months, says Andreas Elfström, officer on duty at the rescue service for Bohusläningen. The emergency services assess that there is no risk of spreading, but that the villa probably cannot be saved. It is also not believed that anyone was in the house. – It must have been burning for quite some time before someone discovered this. Already at ring-in, it was quite burnt out, says Andreas Elfström.
