– There is a fully developed fire in the gym. We can’t go in and do a smoke dive so it seems to be a bigger fire, says Mats Streer, duty officer at the rescue service to the newspaper.
The alarm about the fire must have come in at two o’clock during the night. Two hours later, the building had burned down, but the emergency services prevented it from spreading.
– We monitor the fairly large fire scene. Most of it has burned down, only part of the house is still standing, says Mats Streer to Sydsvenskan.
No one should have been injured. The police have drawn up a report of arson in order to investigate the cause of the fire.
