A heavy fire rages in an apartment building with around nine apartments in Ringarum in Valdemarsvik municipality. It is unclear if anyone was injured in the fire.
– We started smoke diving, but we had to back out. Now it is only external extinguishing, says Martin Eriksson, officer on duty at the rescue service.
Several residents have been evacuated to a nearby school. The house will not be saved, but there is no risk of spreading.
