During Thursday, Skåne was hit by an unusually heavy downpour with 80 millimeters of rain, according to a local weather station.
The large amount of rain has caused several roads and buildings to be flooded, and parts of Båstad are covered in water.
— We have just entered our house. There is mud all over the downstairs. Everything is just mud, says the Båstadsbon Cecilia Kraitz to TT.

Warning for large amounts of rain
And now it looks like there will be even more rain over Scania.
On Friday issued SMHI a yellow warning for heavy rain and heavy thunder. Locally, up to 40 millimeters of rain can fall in a short time
The warning applies from northern Scania to central Bohuslän and Västergötland, between 12 noon and 9 pm on Friday.
