– There were very loud thuds. It sounded like 50 to 100 kilos landed on the floor several times, says the neighbor who wishes to remain anonymous.
Two women are still in custody on suspicion of kidnapping after the 21-year-old woman’s disappearance in Vetlanda on 16 October. According to the police’s information to the neighbor, who has been on several interrogations in recent weeks, the detained women and the missing 21-year-old should have been in the same apartment during Saturday night.
The neighbor says that there are usually parties in the suspect woman’s apartment and that is why he and his father, who was also home this evening, did not alert the police when unusual noises were heard.
– We didn’t feel it was necessary because we didn’t hear anyone screaming, says the neighbor.

Drove the suspect woman to McDonalds
Later that evening, he drove the now-suspect woman to McDonald’s because she was hungry. When he saw that she was under the influence, he did not want to risk her taking her own car.
– I wanted to be considerate and help.
