The man, who is in his 20s, is sentenced to a year and a half in prison after partying for the patients’ money. It was UNT first to report on.

That money had disappeared was first discovered by a relative of one of the patients. The man was suspected and confessed to the crime in the district court, which sentenced the man to probation and three months in prison for, among other things, fraud against the patients.

The sentence was later appealed to the Svea Court of Appeal, which now extended the sentence to one and a half years in prison. The protective supervision has been abolished.
