Pedro Eduardo breathes a sigh of relief when he hears around noon that everything is back under control. Although he is very pleased with how his young people with disabilities have behaved, he is happy that the chaos is over. “It was very impressive for the residents, some of them have never seen a fire so close,” says Eduardo, director of NUzorg. Young people with disabilities live in the NUzorg complex. When the smoke spread, they had to be evacuated in the middle of the night.
