Health Minister Fahrettin Koca stated that Turkey is one of the first countries to notice the Kovid-19 outbreak and take action, and to see that the epidemic has regressed and to reduce the restrictions.
Minister Koca shared on his social media account that the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that Kovid-19 has ended as a public health emergency of international importance.
“WE PUBLISHED THE TREATMENT GUIDE BEFORE WHO”
Giving his speech on January 29, 2022 that the Kovid-19 epidemic has started to come out of Turkey’s agenda, Koca made the following assessment:
“We were among the countries that noticed the Kovid-19 outbreak and took the first action. So much so that we published the Treatment Guide before WHO. Turkey was the first to see the epidemic regress and reduce the restrictions.
‘The epidemic is out of our agenda.’ When we said that, the date was January 29, 2022. The World Health Organization announced yesterday that Kovid-19 is no longer a global emergency. What is known for Türkiye has just been announced to the world.”
