A head-on collision southwest of Caledonia has claimed to the lives of two people.
Haldimand County OPP responded to the accident on Fourth Line, about one kilometer west of Highway 6 at about 10 pm Sunday, October 29.

First responders from Haldimand County and Six Nations also responded to the scene where police found a pickup truck engulfed in flames, and a sedan in a ditch.
Police say a 51-year-old Ohsweken resident, and a 36-year-old resident of Hagersville were the lone occupants of both vehicles, and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team assisted with the investigation which is ongoing.
